Renaud Saleur holds a Master of Engineering degree from CentraleSupelec Paris, a Masters in macro-economics from La Sorbonne and an M.B.A from Harvard Business School.

He served as Senior Investment Manager at Fidelity for more than 10 years before joining the investment team of the Quantum fund at Soros. He was Senior Investment Manager at Moore Capital where he worked closely with Louis Bacon, before creating his own multi-strategy hedge fund, Mangousta, in 2002.

His funds have ranked in the first quartile and often decile of his peers. He is the winner of many LIPPER and MICROPAL awards. Having returned 12% net compound throughout his career, he has concentrated on the energy sector since 2018. Renaud also serves on the board of directors of several French companies.
